    3. Jerry, The Kornegay lines can be very confusing. John George was the Palatine immigrant who came to America in 1710 with his wife and four children. He and his family were killed by the Tuscarorra Indians with the exception of George who was taken captive in 1711. George had 9 sons and 1 daughter. I am a descendant of his sons George Jr. and Jacob. Where does your line come in? I live in East Texas. My parents moved to Texas in the 1920's from Arkansas. My father William Houston K. was born in Ar. My line goes like this: 1. Sandra Kornegay Rhodes 2. William Houston Kornegay 3. William Alfred Kornegay 4. John Ward Kornegay 5. Miller Kornegay 6. John Kornegay - B. 1760 7. Jacob Kornegay - 1734-1796 8. George Kornegay - ca 1700-1773 9. John George Kornegay - 1670-1711 Civil daughter of George Jr. married her first cousin 4.
