Joe, I would love to share in the information on Lewis William. Or, if you could just give me some hints as to where I could go for documentation. My family stems from Robert Arnold's first marriage to Sarah. I have the information available from other researchers and I am very grateful for their hard work. I would however like to have something to prove where my roots are. I know that Robert Arnold is my gg-grandfather, but I have no hard proof. Kathylynn, the first Lewis William Kornegay b 8/10/1803 NC d 7/9/1871 MS married 1st Sarah Keaton and 2nd Anna Harte. (Lewis William and Anna were my GGGrandparents) Lewis William and Sarah's son Robert Arnold married Ellen Martha Addams and had a son Lewis William.....my data (always in some sort of disagreement, which I cause, haha) has Robert Arnold having 2 sons named Lewis William one born 1880 and the other born 1885. Hi Maggie, I did a descendant chart, including siblings, from Immigrant John George Kornegay to Lewis William Kornegay. Probably some others on the list are better with knowing the best way to send, than I am. Remember this is not my line and its not all documented, but may give you some idea on who & what documents to search for for your proof. Hello Maggie, Robert Arnold Kornegay was first married to Sarah Needham. They had a daughter Sarah G. Kornegay who was my great grandmother. There was a son and another daughter born of this marriage. Robert A. married twice more after her death and had children by the other two wives. My records are at home and I will check this out later, but I seem to remember that Robert's father was Lewis William. If you would want me to confirm this I will.
