Kathlynn, try taking the L off the end of Bellsouth, it may go through Sheila
Kathlynn, Thanks, wasn't sure exactly who he was, now that I can make the connection, I know where on Jerry's site to look, and actually may have it in my data base, but since it was listed as Alf. W. wasnt sure. Sheila
Anyone know current e-mail address for Eddie Lynn "Glitz"
I just sent a message to Matt Ward and it was returned....Matt, or anyone, what is your current e-mail address? Kathynn

Think Sandra is out of town, so I'll answer for her. William Alfred Kornegay is Sandra's ancestor. He is s.o. John Ward Kornegay & Narcissa Smalley of Monroe Co. AR. I descended from Wm. Alfred's sister Hannah Elizabeth Kornegay, thence, John Ward & Narcissa are common ancestors of Sandra and me. How much info do you want? It is on Jerry's web-site. Kathlynn
Now that I have finally gotten all my data re-entered, I have gotten it all straightened out, but in going over my notebook I have a few questions. I have learned from past experiance that a ton of questions is pretty overwhelming so I am going to post 2 at a time. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. 1. I have a note on a Bryan Brightman Kornegay who married Ann Mercer does anyone have any info on him. How he is connected to the main family tree? 2. From the Arkansas 1900 Census I have a listing for Alf. W. Kornegay, does anyone have info on him? Who his parents are? Again, any help is greatly appreciated. Sheila
Ruth, Harry and I have the same family line, except his goes through William Carlos Butler and mine through Clarence Franklin Butler, both son's of Louisa Kornegay and George Henry Butler. Louisa was the daughter of Lewis William Kornegay. It is on Jerry's website. Sheila

Maybe a simplier way to question: What is the exact location of: 1. George Sr. Memorial stone now at Red Hill in Wayne County up the river from Kornegay's Bridge? 2. George, Jr's. [Original] Red Hill on the east side of Holmes' Gardens & Lake & north of NC highway 55? 3. Basil's [2nd] Red Hill 4 miles east of Mount Olive? 4. George Jr., Margaret and Basil's [and other family] Red Hill family Cemetry? 5. Wiggins family's Red Hill? It seems Claude Moore article would have included George Sr., also, if his Memorial stone is in the same location of George Jr., Margaret, Basil and the others? Does that explain my confusion and questions a little better? I have the above locations imaged to be like my home town area in AR: I have to name 3 diferent counties when I discribe the location of where different family members lived and the cemetery they are buried in...Humphrey town is located on the line in two counties. The east side of Division St. is Arkansas Co and west side is Jefferson Co. However, family is buried at Flynn Cemetery, rural area, about 4 miles north of Humphrey in Lonoke Co. Ruth, thanks again for your help. Kathlynn
Harry, don't recall that I have seen your Kornegay connections. Would appreciate knowing about your connections. Kathlynn Yours test e-mail is loud and clear. Harry
There is a Red Hill that is about 4 miles (Duplin Co) from me where a Wiggins family lived for many years. I'm wondering if this isn't the place that you are interested in. It is in the neighborhood of where many of Jacob's descendents still live. Hadn't thought about it - but those Wiggins - some still live in Mt. Olive area could be related to Jacob's wife. Will check on this - the family that I am thinking about are Mormans and an Elder in their church. However I have not found out anything about a Red Hill in Wayne Co. Hope this helps. Great! Thank you Ruth and Sue...appreciate your prompt response. One message, addressed to list and returned 3 or 4 times, was to thank you, Ruth, for telling me you didn't know but would try to find out about "Red Hill." And, also, to tell you that the Claude Moore article from Heritage, that you so generously sent to us, has "Jacob who married his step-sister Elizabeth Williams." Isn't it suppose to be Elizabeth WIGGINS [not Williams]? Kathlynn
Who on the list [beside Sandra and Matt] decended from them? Kathlynn
