I was telling him that I had heard from Elizabeth KORNEGAY, in the 1970's she was trying to find information to get her granddaughter in the DAR. She was telling me about John KORNEGAY being a minister and that the family had donated land for a church. I can't find the letter right now. Sue: The family of Caleb Foreman Randolph KORNEGAY was written up in one of the Heritage Books by Margaret K. TOLSEN. She writes that he was a Confederate Soldier and that he and Sarah Ann Mantha Eleanor PRINCE (of Columbus Co. b. 18 March 1839-d. 23 Dec 1902) whom he married 30 March 1858 had 10 children. Imagine my chagrin this evening when I had 147 messages staring me in the face. My problem really, not yours; but I committed a tactical error that I would like to reverse if at all possible. One of my messages that came in after 6:30 PM EST tonight was 1.4 MB in size. I called my ISP and asked them to check on it. They called me back and said that the message was from a Gary Kornegay and had a picture with it and that they had deleted it. Not exactly what I asked them to do, but too late now! Carl is still living, is bed ridden. Thelma is a wonderful person she waits on him very patiently. I try tp visit them at least every other week. Sometimes he knows me and sometimes he doesn't. Someone was writing about the ministers in the Kornegay a few days ago - Carl wasn't a minister (as such) but he ministered to the people. He was a Giedeon and lay speaker in our church (Methodist). They had a son Carl Jr "Carlie". Carlie married Linda ---- and has 2 children. Karla who marreid Curtis Brock and a son Larry. Judi and Carlyle have a daughter - who lives in Fla.
