Don: Casper Kohler was a brother to my g-grandfather, Donald_Ludwig@mail.amsinc Nicholas Kohler. They lived on Swiss Hill Road in Jeffersonville, NY and their dwellings (updated of course) are still there. They both died the same day, within about five minutes of each other and are buried in adjoining lots in the Presbyterian cenetery outside J-ville NY I have a lot of information to share if you are interested...maybe even more data than you want!
