Hi Steve, Well that manuscript provided two important things and I'm only on page 3. It proves Andrew KOHLER of Juniata Co, PA and Andrew KOHLER III born in Adams Co, PA [grandson of Andrew Kohler the immigrant] are the same person. It said that Andrew died on 3 Jul 1869 at the age of 73 years 7 months 7days. Well that computes to 26 Nov 1794 and we have the church record of Andrew III's birth of 25 Nov 1795. I'll bet that is a math error of one day or error in recording or memory of the birthday. The second thing was I've been trying to figure our who the Kohlers of the Kohler company were. I can't lay my hands on it now but I've got a copy of mail from the Kohler company and all they knew was he came from PA. What a surprise to learn that Andrew 3rd's son Charles is that founder.
