Hi folks, I have a KOEHLER family that I am tracing from Philadelphia PA: Christian KOEHLER b. 12.13.1818 m 11.8.1841 to Wilhemina HENSEL b. 1.21.1824. children: John Herman b. 3.12.1843 d. 1.13.1869 Emma Matilda b. 3.16.1847 d. 2.14.1920 Henry William b. 5.12.1849 d. 5.12.1876 m. Augusta Kaylor Daniel Edward b. 8.11.1851 d. 3.21.1923 m. Eliza Binley Ida Amelia b. 7.26.1853 m. John Watts Benjamin Christian b. 4.4.1855 d. 1.1.1901 m. Clara Kuntz Christian was a Baker and owned a Confectionary shop. I do know that Wilhemina's father ;John Gotleib Hensel, was either a freind or associate of Christian's. I also know that most of their children lived with them after marriage and that Christian often sponsored younger bakers (or relatives?) from Germany to his home to work for him.
