Daughter of James Hamner Butler (b. 1836) and Kate Griffiss (1847-1908), his 2nd wife, m. 1864. Granddaughter of John M. Butler (1793-1841) and Margaret Cronmiller (1796-1869), his wife, m. 1817; John Irving Griffiss (1811-57), and Louisa Jane Tucker (1827-88), his wife, m. 1846. Gr-granddaughter of George Crabtree Tucker (d. 1831) and Lenette A. Martiacque (1797-1860), his wife, m. 1815; Thomas Cronmiller and Catherine ** KAYLOR** (1757-1824), his wife, m. 1783. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Daniel Tucker and Lydia Crabtree, his 2nd wife, m. 1786; Martin Cronmiller and Elizabeth King, his wife. Gr-gr-gr-granddaughter of Agreen Crabtree and Sarah Ingraham, his wife, m. 1757. Martin Cronmiller (1758-1834) enlisted in the Pennsylvania militia and was placed on the pension roll, 1831, of Union County. He was born in Germany; died in Pennsylvania. Also No. 50140. [p.81] Thomas Cronmiller (1760-1838) served, 1783, in Capt. Ephraim Pennington's company, 1st battalion, York County militia. He was born in York County, Pa.; died in Baltimore, Md. Agreen Crabtree (1744-1808) commanded the privateer “Harlequin,” 1777. He was born in North Haven, Mass.; died at Crabtree Point, Mass. Daniel Tucker (1760-1823) was engaged in privateering voyages from Portland, suffering many hardships. He was born and died in Portland, Mass. Also No. 80492.
