He is listed on the Civil War roster as being mustered into the army on Feb. 13, 1864 into tghe 1st Regiment, Co. E, then transfered to the 1st Battalion. I regret that I have juust moved so that I don't yet have access to all my family papers. (Elizabeth Knowlton was a great aunt of mine.) Best wishes on your search.
