She is on the 1880 Census rolls and is my G-G-G-Grandmother. According to this record she was 69 and had 8 family members living with her at the time. Her son Pole Knowlton,my G-G-Grandfather, is listed as living with her. He was born-1844 in Napoleon, AK. and left Desha Cty., Ark. around 1889 and went across the river to Donelson Plantation near Gunnison, Mississippi. We know he married a Catherine Mary Darr, one child-Sam Dove and a Emma Stafford, one child-Polly Gibert. Can anyone help solve this? Who and where did Elislabach come from?
