I had only: 1. Seth1 Knowlton was born on 5 Aug 1784. Seth Knowlton married Jerusha Lewis in a ceremony performed by James Walker, a justice of the peace, on 26 Mar 1818 in Bridgewater, Windsor Co., Vermont. Seth Knowlton died on 24 Sep 1857 at age 73. He was a merchant according to his marriage record on 26 Mar 1818. He moved to Malone, Franklin Co., New York. Seth Knowlton and Jerusha Knowlton appeared on the 1850 census enumerated 30 Aug 1850 in Malone, Franklin Co., New York . Seth Knoulton was a 61-year-old farmer, born in Vermont and owning real property worth $1000. Jerusha was 50, born in Vermont, as was George N. (23), who is described as a farmer. Also enumerated in the household were Charles N. (22), Adeline (20), Elmira (16), Janette (13), and Oren (9), all born in New York. Adeline, Janette, and Oren had attended school that year. Jerusha Lewis was born circa 1800 in Vermont. Children of Seth1 Knowlton and Jerusha Lewis were as follows: 2 i. George N.2 Knowlton was born circa 1827 in Vermont. 3 ii. Charles N.
