Well said!! As my grandparents told us-There is no shame in someones work as long as they are giving their all and they make an honest living. My Knowltons were shop keepers, carpenters, farmers. On My Knowlton side I have over 100 first cousins and we all work in many fields and trades and we are all proud of each other whether farmer or surgeon. You say that many of you have the Knowlton Histories-Please help. I am looking for information on Joseph Knowlton and his wife Hannah. Both born in approx. 1780 in England(St Pancras???) My great grandfather came to Canada as a "Barnardo Boy" in 1886. I would love to know who Hannah was prior to marrying Joseph Knowlton, and who was Joseph's father and mother. Any help would be appreciated. I have been stuck at these two ancestors for what seems like forever-I'm getting so discouraged.
