Based on children and births, I can guess that JAK was in: 1802 RI 1826 RI 1829 MA 1830 Wrentham, Norfolk Co, MA 1831 MA? 1833 RI 1835 RI 1850 Walpole, Norfolk Co, MA I would not be surprised if JAK's father were not Charles. There is a Charles Knowlton in 1810 in Needham, Norfolk Co, MA, but nobody put any strokes in the people columns; perhaps Charles was in the household of someone else. Someone has stated that his parents were Grant and Marjorie or Abigail-- no source given. This cannot be the Grant born in 1753 to Ephraim and Ruth and who moved to the Carolinas and had a wife Frances. Elizabeth W.
