Hi everyone: I was at the library today going through film I had ordered to look up information on my grandmothers side of the family when I came across a Knibbs marriage. There is not a lot of information. Archives of Ontario film MS 248 reel 3 Home District Registration, Marriage registers Newcastle District, Durham County, Ontario. Vol 17 Page 38 (the page is actually 37 because there is no 38 listed, however there are two 37's) The entry is very hard to read but here goes. Henry Knibbs married Nora (?) Rosseah (?) by licence January 5, 1842. There are two witnesses. As you can see there is not a lot of info. Joyce
