Hi Alan :) I'm very glad you managed to subscribe, I was getting lonely there for a while until you and David joined me!! ;D When you upload files, you may have noticed there's a box you can check that will send notification to the list. If you check it, a message goes to the list announcing that a file has been uploaded with a brief description. That way you can do it all in one go without having to send an email as well. It may pay for now at least to email this list as well, until everyone knows whether they want to subscribe to Groups or not. I'll be uploading some more files tonight. I've been surfing the WW2 Nominal Roll site in Australia and have quite a few Certificates for various Nibbs individuals. I'll try and do the Knibbs entries tomorrow, it's been a very busy day today and I just didn't get time. Some of the Nibbs' I knew and had in my tree, some I didn't, so I'll have to add the entries from the Victorian CDs I sent before I know for sure who's "mine" and who isn't. I had a very productive day today!! :D Take care, Rob. Well your message above worked for me. I sent the 'blank' email and soon after received back a confirmation email. When I clicked on the link there I was taken to the Yahoo Groups Application Page. I already had a Yahoo address but anyone who has not can create one there and then. I've opted for any messages to be sent to my aol address but don't envisage the need for any correspondence there. All we need do it seems, is mention a file or photo here and tell fellow listers that it is available at the knibb yahoo group page ('KYGP'). And yes, I've uploaded, as threatened, a JACKSON Family photo taken in Barcelona, so you can see us at KYGP! Thank you for setting it up, Rob. I hope it proves useful to everyone in the long run. bfn Alan Alan Jackson Host at The K/NIBB/S One Name Study & Mailing List Website address http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~knibbetc ============================== Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
