    3. This came from a book called 'The Churchill Chronicles' written by by Major General T.B. L. Churchill and outlining the history of the Oxfordshire Churchill line (not the one connected with Winston Churchill). There is a considerable amount of information about Elizabeth Churchill's family in the book but nothing further about Thomas Knibbs. Elizabeth's father was from the Deddington branch of Churchills. This is his will which can be seen online on the PRO site: Will of Thomas Churchill, Butcher of Saint George Hanover Square, Middlesex 19 October 1781 PROB 11/1082 which may give some further information about his daughter.
