I have been reading with interest about the exploits of the K/Nibbs in foreign lands, somewhat disappointed that my Knibbs clan scarcely moved from Northants in the UK. My daughter-in-law has now caught the genealogy bug and she has lots of lines of interest beyond the UK shores. She is seeking advice, and I'm little help, about finding her ancestors who went to Australia in 1890's; seeking ways of connecting with Irish researchers about her Irish links and pursuing her Gt Grandfather, who served in the Artillery during the South African Wars.
