Alan and Laura, I notice in information you have each posted that Thomas Nibbs died at Parramatta, NSW in 1856. Having found the convict record for Thomas I am keen to see what else I might be able to uncover. How did you connect the 1856 death as being this Thomas and does the information recorded for his death give any other information that might help trace what happened between gaining his certificate of freedom and his death?
