    3. John, Any idea where in Australia the ancestors went. I looked but can't find anyone named Clowry in Tasmania, so that probably rules it out as the state they went to. If you have more information on which state and specific names let me know and I will try to think of some possibilities. I have been reading with interest about the exploits of the K/Nibbs in foreign lands, somewhat disappointed that my Knibbs clan scarcely moved from Northants in the UK. My daughter-in-law has now caught the genealogy bug and she has lots of lines of interest beyond the UK shores. She is seeking advice, and I'm little help, about finding her ancestors who went to Australia in 1890's; seeking ways of connecting with Irish researchers about her Irish links and pursuing her Gt Grandfather, who served in the Artillery during the South African Wars. Can you assist me in surprising her when she visits at the weekend- A key surname in all this is Clowry" John Knibbs ============================== Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
