My copy of the National Burials Index (2nd Edition) has arrived today. I've extracted all the K/NIBB/S to an Access file - there are 1033 in total. The extraction includes all entries from the four cd roms and are listed by place and then by date. There are Warning Notices about copying but as we are all part of The One Name Study, I feel able to make the file available for personal research to anyone who would like a copy. We do need to share the info and update the database with any newly found K/NIBB/S deaths in each tree. I thank everyone in anticipation for their co-operation. Please note. I'm away all next week and with a busy few days before then, I won't be able to do much work on the entries myself for a while. There could also be a lull in my responses: I'll be back for a week, when we are having work done on the house, then I'll be away for another week. bfn Alan Alan Jackson Host at The K/NIBB/S One Name Study & Mailing List Website address http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~knibbetc Did you know? Hi Alan It's been a while since I've written but work has taken me away from home for the last 18 months (wife's not too happy!!! or is she ????). I haven't spent too much time on my Knibbs tree but would appreciate a copy of the NBI extracts to update my tree. I did send you the latest copy of my tree at the beginning of the year but had no reply from you so I'm not too sure if you got it. Have a good holiday.
