    1. [K/NIBB/S] More Knibbs in New York
    2. Don Knibbs
    3. Just a quick line to say I've managed to make contact with more Knibbs in New York. Jennifer Knibbs (a Knibbs by marriage) is studying her own family lineage and has her data on the Internet under Genealogy.com. As far as I can make out, there are no Knibbs in her data but thankfully, the data is under her married name, otherwise I'd never have found her. I can't see any connection with Ana Knibbs-Rizzo but was wondering at first if it maybe a connection with Ana's George Knibbs who we've never been able to trace. That would be too much to hope for. Jennifer doesn't know much about the Knibbs side of things but has promised to put me in touch with her sister-in-law (a true Knibbs by birth). Apparently, she did some research a while ago but found it got too complicated and gave up. The information Jennifer has given me is as follows: Her father-in-law is Ronald Knibbs and he has three siblings Robert, Donna and Joan. All are still living. Ronald and his siblings were all born in Buffalo, New York. Their parents were Leon Knibbs and Loretta Knibbs (Bauer) Leon was quite a ladies man and apparently had eight wives and, from what Jennifer understands, had many more children in addition to the four he had with Loretta. Jennifer's sister-in-law has found the marriage certificate of his first seven wives but not one for his marriage to Loretta - but she knows for certain they were married. I guess it was Leon' love for the ladies that made the research so complicated. Anyway, that's all I've learned for now. Hopefully I'll hear from Jennifer's sister-in-law shortly and will keep the list posted. Don
