I recently wrote to Alf Fantham (who some of you may know) concerning some new information we found at Woodstock. Alf is researching his FANTHAM family. Back in 1830, Samuel GRIFFITHS, who's one of Alf's ancestors, married a Frances KNIBBS who was born in Yardley, Worcestershire. Alf had told me of Frances and that she was the daughter of Thomas KNIBBS and Harriet Unknown. This Thomas was the son of John KNIBBS and Elizabeth HOLLIER, so connected to my line. We discovered just last week in the Woodstock PR transcript that Harriet Unknown was in fact Harriet PRATLEY, and that this was the second marriage of Thomas KNIBBS. Anyway, to cut a long story short, Alf replied with: "Again to you, yours and everyone you talk to with the KNIBBS name, Happy Christmas and a successful New Year" So, I'm passing it on. Don
