As I suspected, Rick isn't that interested in knowing more about Ronald Knibbs. The reply he sent me today is as follows: "I have very little info on this person and his direct relatives. All I can tell you is that other people at the same generation level in the tree were born between 1914 and 1933. I know that is not much to go on and it really doesn't nail down the time frame - but we always play the odds in this game don't we. I will ask my daughter-in-law if she knows of anyone on their side who might have more info. I know that some of her relatives do family research (the source of my info) so you never know what might turn up. Give me a few days and I'll let you know what she says." So, fingers crossed. Maybe a Knibbs researcher will turn up amongst his in-laws. If I hear any more I'll keep you posted.
