We were walking in the Lake District over the weekend [espying Nibsthwaite on a map] and having returned I have now completed my trawl through the Oxford Censuses. All entries in the listings are now in the database and relatively few cannot be ascribed to a known family. As regards them , more information may be available on the individual records - I have only purchased the listings which give the residence at the time of the census, not birthplaces, so please all bear this in mind. The 1841 entries will only show the County of birth whereas the later ones will show the actual place of birth. If any lister thinks they have Oxfordshire based family and would like me to search, I'll gladly do so. Equally those who asked for and were sent a copy of the censuses may have an unplaced K/NIBB/S in their chart or might be curious about anyone else appearing in the censuses - see if I can confirm where they fit in. bfn Alan
