Don Joyce FISCHER of Canada, bless her, has been searching the 1891 Bucks census and one of the items will be of interest to you, at least I think so. I had details of the Confectioner before (from an unrelated researcher in France) but only now know that he came from Deddington, aged 54 in 1891. Susannah was 38 in 1891 which fits with a N Bucks death I found as shown. Please take a look at the following and see if you agree. Alan, Firstly, many thanks to Joyce for finding this information and passing it on. Richard KNIBBS, bap at Deddington in 1837 is one of those for whom I have no details other than his marriage to Mary Jane TAYLOR so this itself is a good indication that they moved away from Deddington (and indeed the surrounding areas in Oxfordshire where I've been searching). I have sighted him in the Woodstock Union Census for 1851, living with his parents, but that's all. There was certainly no other Richard from Deddington within 20 years either side of 1837, so it must be him. I have no record of his first wife having died - where did that come from, please? Do we know where and when Richard married his second wife Susannah?
