    3. Hi Don Looking through a book in Buckingham library I found that in 1895 Richard Knibbs was a confectioner in Well St Buckingham. It shows that he was there in 1903, 1911 and 1911. By 1931 it had changed to Mrs Suzanna Knibbs. They are not shown in the 1939 records. Ther is however a W. Knibbs and son, Haulage contractor at 36 Nelson St. if it is of any use. 3. Richard, Many thanks for passing that information on. From what Alan passed on to me the other week, his second wife was Susannah, so I guess from what you've told me, Richard probably died between 1911 and 1931 when the confectionary business changed to her name. Richard was baptised in 1837 at Deddington so by 1911 he would have been getting on in years - 74. Again, from information Alan has given me about Susannah, she was quite a lot younger than Richard and died in 1937 which ties in quite nicely with when the business "disappeared". I don't have any details of a W Knibbs that was connected with this family but it's possible that I don't have details of all their children. Thanks again!
