Hi Alan, I confirmed that my grandfather was still there. I have also found that William Knibbs re married to Harriet Butler. The census shows them as being aged 66 and 67 years old. In the St. Catherines index I have found her death in the 4th quarted of 1901 - aged 67. The census also shows that William Claydon Knibbs had moved back with his father - it shows him as a widower - although I have no record of the death of Emma Jane, his wife. George Knibb, Mary Ann - his wife - and children Thomas, Harry and Florence also show but are not on my list. I also looked in Stone, a small village outside Aylesbury to see if there were any Knibbs there. I know that William Claydon Knibbe died there in 1931 and thought that there may well be others living in the village. I did find that there was a John Knibbs, aged 49, married, in the mental hospital listed as a lunatic - now who wants to claim him - I cannot find him on my list although he may be from the other Knibbs line from Quainton.
