    1. [K/NIBB/S] Star of the week.....
    2. ...... is Sioux FENNESSY. She has sent me the 1999/2000 KNIBB/S GRO entries for all births marriage and deaths recorded at The Family Records Centre in London. A fair amount of copying, I can tell you, which then all had to be typed out by her. They are now finding their way into the database to be linked up with their respective families. So many many 'public' thanks. Not that each one of you isn't a star in one way or another as I do value everyone's input, be it small or large. Let's face it, someone with only a minor K/NIBB/S connection will doubtless be concentrating on their 'other' lines but as and when a K/NIBB/S is espied and passed on during research, another piece of the great jigsaw can be slotted into place. I can boast great satisfaction from my involvement and what follows has touched me greatly. No names on this one as will become clear on reading - and I've blanked a couple of personal and private items also. ''I can't thank you enough. XXX and I have exchanged three long e-mails since receiving [your] e-mail yesterday morning. He has some very [---] memories, although he couldn't have been more than 4 when his parents separated, and he was 6 at the time of the adoption. He feels his [---] abandoned him, and of course, I will work on that - And hopefully sometime in the future, we will get a chance to meet him and his family. My kids are crying tears of joy that their half brother has finally contacted us. They have known about him all their life. XXX did confirm my belief that it was better to let the initial contact come from him. I will let you know what progresses, and thank you again - and all because of your research and your wonderful website. Thank you. XXX :-) '' bfn Alan PS Ever the one to milk it, could the next FRC visitor spare some time to copy the NIBBS bmds? They will be far fewer than the KNIBB/S but in different books which is why Sioux couldn't include them.
