With that, I think I've nailed him down to he born 1838 [see GRO birth list] notwithstanding a slight age difference which becomes even more marked at his death. Nevertheless, the links look strong and I've put him with the Stratton Audley KNIBBS back to John NIBBS in Caversfield 1635ish.
