In the Graves of Myles Standish and Other Pilgrims, by Rev. E. J. V. Huiginn, 1892, a Frederick B. Knapp of Duxbury, MA, pres. of Rural Society, is mentioned. In April, 1889, Frederick and a Mrs. Knapp among others were involved in the opening of a grave to discover if it was Myles Standish. In Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts by Henry Bond, MD Vol I, 1855, William Knapp's line (short one), a mention of Nicholas Knapp and then: Thomas Knapp of Sudbury and Mary Grout m. in Watertown, Sept.....(illegible) He d. beyond the sea, intestate, leaving wid. Mary, dr. of Capt John Grout, Sarah aged 9 years and dr. Mary aged 6 yrs Adm. granted to Francis .....ham of Watertown, May 28, 1697. Inventory �141.7 Sarah Knapp of Weston m. Oct 20, 1715, Richard Orgels of Medford Mary Knapp and Aaron Cutting m. in Weston, Mar 20, 1719-20, removed to Sudbury and afterwards Attleboro (might belong to Thomas Knapp, late of Sudbury) it says) Henry Knapp (? son of John), adult; bap and o.c. in Watertown, Jan 15, 1700; in 1704 a butcher in Newton Abigail Knapp (?) dr. of John of Newton and Benjamin Newton of ......boro m. in Wat Mary Knapp and Samuel Uner, both of Waltham, m.
