Knapp of New Haven, Conn. (Arnold, 9:304). "Manerva" Knapp and her sister "Mary" were living with their Aunt Jenks [mother's sister] in North Providence in 1860 and 1870 . . . in 1865, as "Minerva Bensley," she was there with her sister Clarissa Wakefield (wife of Warren Wakefield)."
