rt, Hi I am Mary Cockrell Shipe and I have Knapp's in my line. Mine were located in Jersey Co. Illinois for 4 generations Charles H. Knapp had wife Elizabeth Holstead Knapp, their daughter Charlotte Knapp married Elias Cockrell. I am also a member of the Maidu Genealigy Socielty of Roseville. We meet on the second & forth Tues. of the month., in the senior wing of the Roseville Comunity center off Rocky Roidge and Douglas Blvd. We have 75 in our club but not all get out at the same time.
