Do any Knapp researchers have any information on my Grandmother, Lola Blanche Knapp, born 1891, and lived in childhood in or near Cedar Rapids or Waterloo Iowa? After marriage, to Harold Hileman, she moved to Los Angeles, California where she remained until her death in 1978. During Lola's life she talked rarely of her roots, however, she mentioned a sister named Marie and referred to her mother as "Momma Knapp" . She said her mother, "Momma Knapp", came from a family of 13 children and was from Germany. Al I have now is the following: Lola Blanche Knapp b. 1891, presumably in Iowa.
