He was born in Putnam County, N.Y., from whence he removed to this county in 1828. Therefore his death date is 27 March 1866-----NOT 6 March 1866----- (According to Sexton's records Brundage is buried in Fitchville Cemetery in North Fitchville twp., Huron Co., OH in an unmarked grave next to his son Edward G. Knapp with whom he lived during the last years of his life. I have been to the cemetery and there is an unmarked grave site next Edward. Brundage did indeed marry Esther MEAD before 1820 as they had a son Adolphus Govenor Knapp born 19 Feb 1820 in Westchester Co., NY, died 30 Nov 1905 in Big Rapids, Mecosta, MI, married 12 Nov 1842 in Huron Co., OH to Hannah RICHARDSON, daughter of Abel Richardson and Phebe. As to another said wife of Brundage Knapp, Sally Tyler---- Brundage and Sally are supposed parents of Sally T. Knapp who married Simeon Munson my notes show that Adolphus Knapp sold land to Austin Munson in Ingham Co., MI on 5 June 1846 (White Oak twp, Sec 32.
