Does any one on the Knapp list have a Levisa KNAPP? She was listed in the census as being born in KY, probably around 1800. She married (first) Thomas Hol(e)man from NC. He was in AR in the late 1820s. Don't know if they married in KY or AR. They had two sons, Joseph (b: Jan 1836) and Thomas, both born in AR. They may also have had a daughter, Elizabeth HOLMAN, who married a James L. KNAPP,1 Aug 1844 in Saline Co. AR. Don't know if this James L. was related to Levisa or not. This Elizabeth may not have been a daughter, but could have been a sister/niece/cousin of Thomas. After Thomas died in 1844, Levisa was married a second time to a TRAMMELL in AR. Would appreciate any leads you can give me about any of these very hard to trace ancestors!
