Masten and Addie Knapp was married May 28th 1884 John A Andrus and Mimmie C Knapp was married Nov 27th 1887 Howard E Knapp and Emma J Marshall was married April 27th 1890 Polie Knapp and Amealia Jacokes was married March 27th 1893 (Napoleon, I think Polie was a nickname) Norman P Knapp and Reita Wood was married July 4th 1902 Ralph E Knapp and Bessie M Wood was married May 30th 1905 (Page 2( Ralph Knapp born 4/20/1881 passed away 1/7/1958 Bessie Wood wife of Ralph Knapp passed away 5/19/1964 Beatrice Knapp married Sidney Loftus Seven children: Shirley (my mother), Robert, Lois, Donnie, Jean, Sid Jr., Diana Gerald Knapp Married Ethel D. Wright 4/18/1937 2 children Gerald Jr. 11/7/1938, Timothy 7/21/1947 (Page 3) Births Charles E Knapp was born Jan 8th 1830 Jane L Howe was born Sept 22nd 1840 Garrie Storms Knapp was born June 14th 1858 Orlando R Knapp was born Jan 30th 1861 Addie Knapp was born Dec 4th 1863 Everet Knapp was born Aug 26th 1864 Howard Knapp was born Sept 14th 1866 Minnie C Knapp was born May 3rd 1869 Napoleon Knapp was born March 8th 1875 Norman P Knapp was born March 30th 1879 (however, the 30th which is in ink was written over in pencil (4)......I don't know what it means) Ralph E Knapp was born April 20 1881 Eddie son of Norman P Knapp was born Sept 7th 1903 Norman son of Norman P Knapp was born Oct 21 1905 Beatrice daughter of Ralph Knapp was born May 20th 1907 (she is my grandmother, still living) Bessie M Wood was born 12 Oct 1886 Gerald son of Ralph and Bessie was born 4 May 1915 (Page 4) Deaths Garrie Storms Knapp died March 4th 1861; Age 2 years 8 months 18 days Everett Knapp died Aug 28th 1864 age 2 days Charles E Knapp died July 2nd 1904 age 74 years 7 months Eddie son of Norman P Knapp died March 5 1905 age 1 year 6 months Norman P Knapp died Sept 13, 1905 age 26 year 6 month This is all the information I have in this journal. The journal is a daily journal for the year 1874, entries begin on Wednesday June 24, 1874. The only other thing in the book is a recipe for oatmeal cookies.
