Disbrow is a name sometimes wrongly ascribed to Elinor, I have never before seen it used as a first name, much less a child of Nicholas and Elinor. There was a Disbrow family among the early settlers of Fairfield county as there was a Lockwood family, but no evidence Elinor was related to either. Stephen Emery, Do you have a copy of Nicholas Knapp's will? Where could I obtain a copy? I'm doing some research for my half-brother who is descended from Nicholas. Dear Leslie, et al., Did you happen to notice the name of the submitter? If there was a Disbrow Knapp, he must have been born after Lydia. He is not mentioned in Nicholas Knapp's will. I would consider this assertion "questionable" without some "proof". The LDS Ancestral File is not what I would consider "proof" without some reliable corroboration.
