Well, I had the site run the internet connection security test and it appears that I have successfully closed my Port 139, and that my computer is fairly secure. They advised that I re-run the test again in a week or two to be double-sure, which I will do. I have also signed up for their email lists, which help in the area of internet security. Once I get offline, I will be again checking to make sure I didn't re-get the worm. I can't believe what a huge problem this is! I've told my sister that I will call her up via phone and walk her through the steps to close her Port 139 (and also check for that worm). And some people think it's a hoax....I only wish it were!
