    3. I feel like I ought to know more about this than I do since I have a degree in Computer Technology and teach it. But, I have files and printer sharing turned off at home and always have had it turned off. But, I received a copy of this worm. My assumption WAS I received it from school mail where sharing is turned on; I pick up school mail at home in Outlook. But, it is rampant on this list which seems odd statistically speaking. It's a small list and a large number of people have found it in the last 24 hours since it was released. Going back to the "root" of the list, it's on a server and I'm sure printer and file sharing is turned on. That would allow it to disseminate to all of us. I don't know if it can deliver its lethal payload on the 19th if the file and printer sharing is turned off, but that obviously isn't keeping it from spreading. Most of us at home are going to have that turned off. That's the default; you have to go in to turn it on and most home users wouldn't know about it to think to do it. How many have home networks? I don't know anymore if I got it from this list or from school and it doesn't much matter. What's important is that everyone check to see if they've got it and delete it so we don't keep spreading it around between ourselves AND send it to everyone in our address books (mine is huge). I'll check when I get to school to see if it's on my computer there.
