    3. My guess would be that Joseph Hunt is Mary Ann's father, the childrens grandfather, who might have raised them when she died. So her maiden name would be Mary Ann Hunt. My Knapp's also went to the Dakota's, and I haven't seen anything on a Kincade, but will keep my eyes out!
