    2. If you send be a street address I will send you copies of what I have on the Chase and Knapps itwill take me a long time to put it all on the computer unless my daughter can do it for me with her Fax machine they just got or if they can come me how to use the scanner John had bought that just sits here because I can't understand thing's by readiing it, I see things backwards and it takes me a long time to learn some things with out someone showing me how to do it. I'm surprised I learned how to use a computer even. I will start putting the genealogy in the computer but it will have to be a page or so at a time. Laura

    2. Patricia Knapp
    3. Hi All Am searching for Ephraim Knapp Jr. born ca1775 as said in Upstate New York. Which is considered in Upstate New York Rensselaer County or St. Lawrence County. He moved to Brompton, Quebec Canada around 1797 was married to Betsey Houston (Huston), he may have come bring one son with him a Lyndes Knapp born 1791 or 96 in New York also. Ephraim Knapp Jr. and Ephraim Knapp Sr. came with William Barnard and Associates they received land in Brompton, Quebec and where believed to be United Empire Loyalists but we have not yet found proof of this. It is believed that Ephraim Knapp Sr. was born in Norton, MA. Was a Rev. War vet and moved to Hopkinton, St. Lawrence County New York. -- Patricia Knapp [email protected] Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

    2. I just went and got a6 copies made and am trying to get them in order but I'm still doing a lot of running around because of the mess they made on John. I will Put every thing on AOL but it will take me awhile like one page a day as soon as I get them back in order. I had never heard that William and Harriett (Chase) Knapp were divorced before so I wont have that in my things for awhile. Any way I'll try to start getting all of this on line real soon. Laura
