Hi Richard: I was wondering if you have any info on Amy KNAPP b. abt 1797/1800, New York, m. Joseph STACY, Jr. Father: Joseph KNAPP b. 13 May 1740, New York m. 10 Aug 1763 to Mary CLARK, d 30 Jan 1830. Stephen suggested to me that instead of Moses being Joseph's father that maybe it was Timothy KNAPP, Jr. I've never seen anything on Timothy as yet. Do you have anything at all on this family that could possibly help me? Sure would appreciate any help you could give me or advise. Thanks Richard, Edna in WA.

I'm actively working this line and am tied into their son Moses, his son Moses, their son Moses and Salmon Knapp. Best regards. Richard E. Knapp
Knapp-L Group: I'm posting this as an item of current interest on a search for Knapp heirs. I wish I could claim this but I cannot. I think the property in question may be in or near Bucks County, Pa. Received a search letter from Attorney David M. Macfarlan, 411 Horsham Road, Horsham, PA 19044-2025 dated June 16, 1998. (sorry I have been travelling). He writes the following: "I am writing this letter to you as the Attorney who is representing the heirs of Elizabeth A. Knapp, deceased, concerning an Action to Quiet Title of a property known as the Knapp farm located in Motgomeryville (his spelling not mine), Pennsylvania. At this time, we are attempting to serve all of the possible heirs related to the Knapp farm, so that the court can render a decision on the ownership of the Farm. At this time, we are trying to locate James Francis Knapp and Sharon Anita Knapp or their heirs. If you have any informaion concerning the whereabouts of James Francis Knapp or Sharon Anita Knapp or their heirs, if you could please return that information to me . . . . your cooperation and consideration will be greatly appreciated. If you have no information concerning this person, your notification to me of that will be helpful also. Yours Truly, Dictated but not read / / David M Macfarlan. (Phone: 215-443-0500 Fax: 215-443-9894) Anyone with any knowledge of the individuals in question may want to contact the attorney. I'm holding out for a castle in Ireland. [email protected]
I am interested in finding the death date of my ancestor, Elizabeth (WARREN) KNAPP, wife of James. She was in Groton in the late 1600s. I would like to know what happened to her. thanks, Charles
