Hi, Okay here it goes: I have two Sisters who Married two Brothers: Mason Marsh married Pheobe Ella Branson Thomas Marsh married Ruth Ann Branson Ella and Ruth's other sister Edna married Frank Kise Thompson, the brother of their Newphew's (Perl Pruitt) wife Gertrude. Then I have my Martin Uncles who had a hard time getting dates: My great great grandfather Isam Martin Married Ellen Crain. Ellen's sister Lucy was widowed young and married Isam's brother James Martin. Now James first wife was Mary Belle Alloway, she was declared insane and divorced. James and Isam had another brother named Joseph. Joseph married Sarah Alloway. Sarah died young and he then married her younger sister Emma Alloway. Okay fine, but it doesn't stop there. Isam's father was Hartwell Martin. He married Sarah Pruitt from Marion Co IL. Isam had a daughter named Annis who married Thomas Benton Pruitt Jr. Thomas Benton Pruitt Sr was born in Marion Co IL. Now Thomas Jr died at the age of 35 (he was my great grandpa) in 1907. In 1918 Annis married Emory Ellis Prewett (I haven't had the heart to trace Em). Annis and Thomas Jr had two children a son Otto (my grandpop) and his sister Stella. Stella married Ira Sherman. In the 1930's Stella married Bill McDowell and they moved to Klamath falls OR. In the early 1940's Annis and Em moved to K. Falls OR as Em was ill with cancer and Stella was dying of Lupus. Stella and Ira had a little boy Ira Jr. Em died first followed by Stella. Annis stayed with Ira to raise her grandson Ira aka Ike. They moved to the Puget Sound area during WWII. Annis and Ira raised Ike. When he married, my grandma didn't think it looked right for two single people to live together so, you probably guessed it, she married her son and law Ira. Annis died when I was 10. I remember being so confused that while she was my greatgrandma, her husband was my uncle.????
