Oh gee! Where am I NOT looking right now? Ok, here goes... Most of my search right now is centered around the Fannin and Gilmer County, Georgia/Polk County, Tennessee area. But I am also searching the Jackson North Carolina area, several area's in South Carolina and Alabama. My father's mother lived in Van Buren, Arkansas for awhile so I am also looking there. her first son was born in Douglas County, Missouri or Montana, not sure which, so I am also trying to search there. Plus, some family lived in the Hazard, Ky. area so when I get a chance I will look there too. My great great great grandmother came from Ireland so if I ever get a chance I will look there. On the Chastain side the family has been traced back berofe 1625 to France-don't guess I can get much further than that. I guess that is is so far. But with my family, who knows! We are spread from the east coast to the west coast! (if you are out there, Hi Marg!). Take care all!
