    3. Hi, I have many interesting ones. But back in 1692, the Salem Witch trials took place. Three sisters, the Towne sisters; Rebecca Towne Nurse, Mary Towne Easty, and Sarah Towne Bridges Cloyes. They were daughters of William and Joanna (Blessing) Towne. All three were accused of being witches. Sarah, the youngest, was spared, but Rebecca and Mary were hung as witches. All due to teenage boredom and circumstances of the period. My 9th great grandmother was Rebecca Nurse. She was 71, an invalid, and a little hard of hearing. There are several movies out about them, two of them are Arthur Miller's "The Crucible", and "Three Sovereigns For Sarah" a very truthful account, starring Vanessa Redgrave. There is also much on the net on this subject. Jerrian
