I realized that I forgot some of my family intertwinings. William DAVIS Jr. of Marion District SC married his first cousin Mary DAVIS. Their son William Henry married Melissa Cliff FINCH in Baldwin/Clarke County AL; their son Robert Dunham married her sister, Emily Hite. Two sons of William Henry and Melissa, James Madison DAVIS and Joshua Alonzo DAVIS, married Clarke Co. sisters Mary and Martha HOSEA. I believe I mentioned that my great-grandfather, William Hite DAVIS (another son of William Henry and Melissa), married Sarah GRAYSON of Marengo Co. AL; he later married her sister, Harriet Elizabeth GRAYSON Evans. His sister Caroline Emily Deborah DAVIS married Alexander Harvey GRAYSON, the girls' brother. The only child of William Henry and Malissa who *didn't* marry into a "kissing cousin" relationship (two sons died unmarried) was Matilda Louisa, who married a JOHNSON. EXCEPT...Matilda's son, William, married Harriet Elizabeth's daughter by her first marriage, Susan Emma EVANS. I think I'm done now. :-) Nancy Davis Harwood Houston, TX
