Candy, It was not uncommon in Scotland when I child died at an early age or birth to name another child the same name. I am sure the same was true for the US at this time. Why wait to go to Sweden and Norway to start checking your husbands family? Rootsweb has sites that may pertain to those areas. The more names you have to check the more intersting it becomes. If you start searching for your husband's family you will only get 3 hours sleep a night instead of 6. Every time I add a name to my list its 1 less hour of sleep I get a night.
