I started this list today. I only got word that it was available to start taking messages at 4:00 this afternoon, at the moment, we've already subscribed about 30 people and I've still got invites out there, as well as leaving a message on RootsWeb-L that we were starting this list. I think that almost 30 people is a great accomplishment for only 8.5 hours. Take heart, this list is brand new, but we are finding each other really fast, and I will do everything I can to see that this list gets it's name out there where people can see it, satisfy their curiosity and tell us about their Cousin's who married. There really are alot out there, but it's the one thing that you don't hear much about. Cousin marriage has always had a stigma attached to it, and unfortunately it still does, but these people were marrying Cousins hundreds of years ago even. It's not a bad thing and I believe you will find that lots of people are in the same boat but didn't know where to talk about it. That's why I created this List. If someone knows that they've got a Cousin marriage, then I will make sure to do everything in my power to to see that they find our list and have a place to post their information.
