I've "rescued" a beautiful old marriage certificate belonging to Clarence E. HUSSEY of Holland, Vermont and Dora E. KISER of Irasburg, Vermont who were married on the 23rd of March 1897 at Holland, Vermont. The ceremony was performed by John T. BARCENDALE and witnessed by Mrs. BARCENDALE. Based on limited research I find Clarence HUSSEY b. 1876 at Holland, VT to parents John HUSSEY and Mary NASON. His marriage is also recorded with the bride's name noted as Dora E. KISER FISEL leading me to believe that KISER may be her maiden name and FISEL a surname from a previous marriage. I'm hoping to locate someone from the family so that this beautiful old treasure can be returned to the care of family.
