Hello listies, I am looking for: Benedict Geser, born 1819 in southern Germany, into the U.S. 1849, 1852 till 1864 at 347 East Water Street in Milwaukee, WI where he was co-proprietor of the boarding hotel named Kossuth House. According to Chicago City Directory, he is from 1864 till at least 1867 listed as a proprietor of the boarding hotel named Northwestern House at 95 Desplaines corner Carroll in Chicago/IL. In the 1860 Federal Census Benedict Geser is mentioned with his son Carl (age 6 years) and his daughter Carolin J. (age 5 years) and also his wife Barbetha Prier/Prior (born in Hesse-Darmstadt near Mayence). In the documents and records are to find spellings of the surname Geser also like Geiser, Goeser, Kaiser, Kayser, Keiser, Kiser, Kyser, Kyzar. Any help is greatly appreciated and gratefully thanked.
